Dear Prospective Coach, My name is Reed Gautreaux, I am a 6'4 230lb TE/DE and I have dreamed about playing college football for as long as I can remember. I started playing in the 5th grade and have been passionate about the sport ever since. I love the competitiveness, the grit and the life lessons that football has taught me. I'm a multi-sport athlete and enjoy playing baseball as well. Playing both sports has taught me the value of hard work and dedication that will prepare me for the future. I am an avid hunter and also compete on my high school fishing team. I play the drums for the youth band at my church and for my school.
My main attributes are my work ethic and desire to win. I love being aggressive on the field and spending extra time in the weight room. I have strong faith and strive to be a positive role model to my peers.
I am looking for a college that best fits me academically and athletically and believe that I can make a positive contribution to the right football program and community. I will strive to be the best player, teammate and student wherever I have the opportunity to play.
Thanks so much for your consideration.
