I am a high school senior looking for a school that can use a teammate that is there to support and advance the team not only in football but in life. My sophomore year I was the starting running back until I got Covid, upon my return I was told I would be moving to another position and not be running back anymore. At first it was very frustrating because I was not given the opportunity to try and win my position back. At that time I had to ask myself how I was going to respond to that situation, be mad or rise above it and learn from it. I decided to do what was best for the team and learn the new position and grow from it. The next year as wide receiver I had 14 touchdowns, but what I was most proud of is I led the team in 3rd down conversions. This year I moved to a hybrid Tight end / receiver role and developed my blocking skills to try and do all I could to help my team. Adversity will come and you have 2 options, get mad or get better. I hope that all of my teammates would say I got better and tried to make them better.
