I really want to obtain a college degree no matter what it takes. It is common knowledge that a quality career today usually always requires a college degree. I also love football and have been told that I have God given talent for this sport - for which I am very thankful. Playing football pushes me to be not only a better athlete but also a better person. It has taught me a great deal about leadership, discipline, and commitment. Other areas of involvement include choir, drama, track (hurdles and relay), and the Fellowship of Christian athletes. I am proud to say that I consider myself a Christian. My career goal is to be a football coach; perhaps starting at the high school level. The financial obligation required for a college education will be a significant challenge for me. I feel that playing football at the college level can help me continue to develop my athletic and leadership skills and open the doors to receive financial assistance for a quality education at the same time.
