Brett Calhoun '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brett Calhoun. I am having a great senior season at Greenwood High School in Arkansas. I am one of the leading tacklers on a top team in the state of Arkansas.

My sophomore year I was named all conference and sophomore player of the year. My junior year I was named all conference and honorable mention all state. I am a 3 time all state wrestler and a 2 time state champ at the 182 and 220 lb weight class as well as a National High School All American. I averaged 13 tackles a game and finished the year with 127 tackles in 9.5 games my junior year. My sophomore year I averaged 6 yards per carry,

I made a 21 on my act my sophomore year and have held over a 3.5 on my gpa through high school. I plan to improve my ACT over the next 2 semesters. My goal is to receive a college scholarship for football and/or wrestling. I would like to earn a cpa accounting degree. I hope to join a team that I can contribute to its success on and off the field and be a part of a great experience for everyone.
