Connor Pearce '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Connor Pearce and I am a senior this season (2017-2018).  I play offense and defense, as a free safety and wide receiver, as well as special teams for my high school's varsity team.  

I have set a goal to go as far in the football world as possible but I also know that I can’t play forever and that getting a good education is important.  I am a very hard worker, challenge myself and set goals, and I am both a team player and a leader.  I am passionate about football and very persistent at working toward becoming the best athlete that I can be.  As a football player, I aspire to be part of a collegiate team that I can contribute to and continue to grow.  In terms of my education, I’m interested in having a career that combines my interest in business and love of sports.

I am someone who expects a lot from myself and pushes myself to do my very best on and off the field.  In practice, I always try to challenge myself and put myself up against players who will challenge me the most.  I always want to be improving my skills and developing into a better athlete.  I am also a team player, working hard to do the most I can for my team, while also encouraging my teammates.  I try to lead by example in working hard, fighting until the end, and making good choices both on and off the field.  

I also work hard in the off-season.  I play Varsity Lacrosse in the Spring for my high school team, and also have the privilege of working with a trainer who played professional football .  He has been a mentor to me throughout my high school years and I am grateful for my relationship with him, my coaches, and all of the opportunities I have had so far.  I will continue to learn and grow as an athlete, pursue my dreams, and develop into the man my family has raised me to be and my mentors have shown me how to be.
