My college goals and aspirations are to get a education while still being able to play football. I do not like the thought of my senior year in high school being the last years i strap up and play ball. I believe in hard work and dilligence in the classroom and on the field. I have played this game since I was seven years old playing pop warner ball. I take every walk through ,practice and chalk talk seriously and use this time to grow on the field as a better player, leader and motivator. My attitude is that of a team player and I give every play my everything. Us lineman do not get many atta boys but we grind every single down . For the team the brotherhood.HUSTLE AND HEART SETS ME APART . I eat ,sleep train do classwork and lift on a consistent basis. Football is my passion, i'm a one sport guy to say the least. this being my juinor year I am involved in track and field . Its more or less to help pass the time till official football season starts again. Shot put and discus are the 2 events that I do, although figuratively speaking my football season never stops. I play varsity as a starter after having to sit out as a freshman with a 1.5 gpa. After coach cut me as a frosh he told me I was looking at a varsity spot as freshman, that was a kick in my balls and it hurt . I walked off that field after going through hell week and watching all my teammates I grew up with receive their lids and racks. I walked off the field with a tear in my eye and promised myself that never again would I do this to myself. I came into my sophomore season with 3.4 gpa and ended with a.3.9 . As a junior my grades have fluctuated and always above 3.1 Hard work does pay off and I am proof of it. I am continuing to learn and lead and feel that whoever steps on the field across from me better pack a lunch.I have that old school never quit attitude and am respected by my teammates. Ihave never smoked nor drink and I do not get involved with parties. Not my sort of thing . I just want to play ball. IM HUNGRY, IM DEDICATED, IM SMART, IM COACHABLE , AND MOST OF ALL IM A TEAM PLAYER . I'm confident but not cocky and feel that I can make a positive difference and impact wherever I go. THANK YOU
