Kevin Sutherland '06 Recruiting Profile

I will be returning to either Shasta College in Redding, CA or Butte College in Oroville, CA for the upcoming 2010 season. I am returning to play my final year of Junior College eligibility and to earn a scholarship to further pursue my education, hopefully in physical therapy. I took a break from school & football after the 2007 season at Shasta College because my grades were not reflecting the person I knew I was. I was not taking school seriously enough and my major was up in the air. I took a manufacturing job here in Redding, CA for the last year and it has really put things into perspective for me. Having this dead end job really got me thinking about what I wanted to do with my future. I made the decision to play football again in early october and have been working hard since to acheive my goals and attain a scholarship. I have been enrolled back in school as of the fall semester of 2009 and my determination and grades have improved drastically. I do not have my 2007 stats from Shasta College on hand, but I will be sure to get them. I do have a highlight video from high school. I am a very determined person when i apply myself to something and it took me a long time to figure that out (especially school), but I am ready to go now. I hope to be talking to you guys soon.
