Joseph Hiner '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1 Defensive/Offensive Tackle from San Diego, California. I weigh 280 pounds and during my freshman year, I earned a starting position on the varsity football team on both sides of the ball at Mater Dei Catholic High School. Being a 4-year starter I earned the title of team captain. I am able to use my leadership skills by bringing the team together and leading our team to an undefeated season. 

I've excelled on both offense and defense positions. I've received numerous accolades in San Diego County. Recently received recognition as top 10 player of the week as a result of earning 2.5 sacks against a top ranked quarterback in the county.

I am looking for an academic institution where I can excel in the classroom and athletics. I am interested in colleges and universities with majors in business and marketing. My focus is on staying on the west coast or the southwest region of the United States.

I aspire to be the best at whatever I do. Living by this creed I always work to my max potential, on and off the field. Being a captain on my football team, and working my way to a starting position on both sides of the ball, I know what it takes to play at the top level and I am willing to work to get there.
