Mason Rasmussen '22 Recruiting Profile

Everyday is gameday! So I bring the best of me off and on the field. I have played on both sides of the ball including special teams. My favorite position is any that have me on the field. Most recently, I have found myself at quarterback with the additional opportunity to play safety.  Other positions I have played include corner, receiver, and running back. .  Living through the pandemic in California has been challenging for most athletes.  As a junior, I moved to a new school and we have yet to experience any contact interaction. To keep athletically sound and strong, I have been conditioning with my new school teammates and workout regularly with a fitness trainer. There are positive takeaways from interacting virtually but I do miss the in person social engagement and sense of pride school provides.  When I’m not on field or in the books, I’m producing music on my computer or playing my guitar. I’m hopeful about my upcoming senior year and where we will all be after that.
