I’m a driven individual constantly striving for excellence both academically and athletically. As a three year varsity letterman in both basketball and football, my passion and hustle have been my keys to success. There are certainly other players that are bigger and faster than I, but none will out work me.
Late February, I had ACL reconstruction surgery from a tear in basketball season. I worked incredibly hard to have a quick 6 month recovery and haven’t missed one snap all season. My surgeon has also informed me I will be even stronger and faster than before surgery by February of next year. During this recovery, we acquired a new coaching staff who doesn’t allow players to play both ways. Once I was cleared, we needed a hybrid safety/outside linebacker, so that is what I have been playing. I am also working with my old receiver coach twice a week to keep my offensive skills sharp.
In addition to playing competitive football at the next level, education is extremely important. I am currently in the top 4% of my high school class and Commissioner of Spirit for our Student Government. In college I plan to study biology, nutrition/food science, or environmental science.
