Joshua Greaves '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joshua Seth Greaves and I live in Granada Hills, Caifornia.  I go to Crespi Carmelite High School going into my senior year and I play quarterback. I live with my mother, Seda Greaves, and my little brother Jonathan Greaves.  My father, John Greaves passed away in 2013 from Leukemia and that was a major loss for me and my family that is still hard to get over to this day.  My father was a football coach at the high school and junior college level for 28 years and a successful business man and he taught me how to be a person of high character and to cherish every moment of my life.  My mother is from Armenian descent and was born and raised in Iran and Armenia and she has always been instrumental in keeping me focused in school as well as making sure I work hard in every part of my life. I have sustained over a 4.0 GPA over the course of my high school career as well as being in school clubs and community organizations; as well as playing three different sports in high school.  However, I take pride most in my leadership abilities as well as my faith.  I have proven that I can be someone that can lead a team and make decisions that will help lead others to victory.  I am also a Christian man and I want to help enlighten those in my life who are struggling and need guidance. My goal is to get a Division I scholarship to a highly selective university and to major in business.  I promise to any school that gives me a chance that I will not only grow and develop into a great football player but also be a leader that others can look to for help, guidance and advice whether it be on or off the field.
