Hello, my name is Corey Soper. Other than football, I consider myself an interesting person. I do love football but I figure that in the end, my life is not just going to depend on football. I just see it as an opportunity to build relationships, create memories to last, and open up doors for my future. My life consists of a very complex agenda. I have a lot of hobbies and/or dreams. Some of my main hobbies are going to Disneyland, collecting antiques, and hanging out with my friends. I try to find time for these activities but most of the time I am unable to because of sports and school. I am always in the weight room or at home doing homework. Having a 4.00 is my goal and it is something I want to keep up, all through high school. My favorite subjects are both math and Spanish. After high school, I am going to shoot for either a major in Hospitality or Engineering, with a minor in language. I figure that becoming bilingual will be the best for job opportunities I might get later in life. Football is definitely a huge part of my life. I spend countless hours and gallons of sweat trying to become a better player. Football has taught me great life values like: mental strength, perseverance, leadership, trust, and especially respect. All of these individual ideas have shaped me into the young man I am today. I feel like I am different from others in my position because I am always striving to be a better son of God, son, brother, student, and player, and I strive for perfection. If I reach a goal, I celebrate for a while, but then I am back to work, reaching for another accomplishment. I know the rough road that is awaiting me every day. I know the struggles of life are coming after me, but I know that anything is possible with Faith, love, and hard work.
