Kaleb OWENS '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm not just an athlete, I'm a student athlete. I'm hardworking and dedicated to my work both in the classroom and on football field. Playing college football and earning a college degree are both ultimate goals of mine; and with my deep faith in God, and the support of my family, I WILL accomplish both.

As a student, I'm focused and determined. I may not be at the top of my class, but I strive to be the best student I can by trying my best to become a better student everyday. I'm always willing to learn and focus constantly to improve on my weakest subjects. I have maintained a 3.0-3.4 GPA, but striving to earn a higher GPA.

As a football player, I am disciplined, focused, and alert. I am a team player with great leadership skill. I may not be the strongest, nor fastest, but I believe my work ethic is beyond most athletes my age.  I enjoying playing the game of football, but I enjoy studying the game itself. Studying the game has elevated my football IQ.

Once I have completed high school, I'm looking for a college that provides a wonderful atmosphere where I can excel both in the classroom and on the football field. I'm open to different types of colleges. My choice will depend on whether or not they offer my majors (Kinesiology/Art), a football team where I can actively compete for a position, and a college that has a good reputation.

I may not be known across the nation, or flooded with numerous offers, but any college that I am afforded the opportunity to play with will be able to see the creme rise to the top!
