Just to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a very respectful person, courteous, generous, just overall outgoing. I am very dedicated to the sport of football. When I joined my freshman year I only joined because I wanted to lose weight, but I never really did that. My freshman year banquet I received an award I never would have thought of getting, “Offensive Lineman of the Year.” My sophomore year I started on varsity as an offensive lineman I played both right tackle and left tackle I also played a little bit of defensive tackle. During my sophomore year I realized that I wasn’t the best at my position I was just a “big body” according to my coach. So during off season I just said to myself “it’s time to get better.” So my junior year comes rolling around at the time I didn’t know what to expect. After each game I would always get compliments from the other teams players, and coaches. My junior year I was pretty dominant in my position. My junior year banquet starts and I knew at the time that I got first team all league but there was another award that I got that I wasn’t expecting. I received “All-CIF Offensive Lineman” once I got called up to go get my award I just had the biggest smile on my face because I would have never thought in all my four years of high school I would receive that award. I never tell myself I am the best at what I play I tell myself that there is always room to improve and get better.
