Michael Curto '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Curto and I go to San Benito High School. I have played for the varsity football team since I was a sophomore and now my junior year as well. I am in the class of 2023 and I believe that I would be a great candidate for playing at the next level. I am 6'5" and 250 pounds and still growing. I prioritize the classroom first and make sure I have a high standard of keeping a 3.5 GPA or above. What makes me different from other recruits is that I have the ability to learn quickly and have been praised for being extremely coach-able. I also have fast feet and the ability to move; which has kept me able to get my starting spot as the offensive left tackle on the varsity team my sophomore and junior year. My job on the team as being the offensive left tackle was to protect the quarterback's blind side. Along with protecting my quarterback my job was to push guys around and open holes for my running backs. This year I was hand picked to receive a coaches award due to my success on the team. My goals for football are to be one of the captains for my team my senior year and lead my team to a CCS championship. I always wanted to be successful and football I believe can be something that will make me achieve my dreams of being something great. Not only am I one that plays football I also played basketball my freshman year, rodeo since I was in 6th grade and volleyball. I believe that all these sports help me improve my ability to have responsibility and physical improvement from these sports. Thank you for taking time to view my account.
