Liam Ryan '16 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'6" and 250 lbs.  All my life I have been athletic and coordinated.  I played soccer, baseball, basketball, nation ball, flag football, tackle football, shot put and discus.  As my life got busier and more hectic, I stuck with the two sports I am very passionate about basketball and football.  I am fortunate that I have great footwork.  This allows me to start in both sports.  I am an offensive tackle in football and a power forward / center in basketball.  I am a team player.  I like to help push my teammates to be better.  I cheer them on and support them in whatever way I can.  I am a leader.  I like to step up to the plate and show how its done.  I am coachable.  I have been very fortunate to have had some great coaches in my life.  All have impacted me and made me the player I am today.  Everyday I learn something new from my coaches.  In school, I push myself to work hard and challenge myself to get good grade.  I work hard to balance my schedule so I can get practice and homework in.  I chose Damien High School (college preparatory school) because I wanted a challenge academically and a great education.
