I have been playing football since they would let me get on the field at the age of 4. My freshman year I never came off the field for freshman football and was the starting TE, ILB, and on special teams. Towards the end of the season I started at QB due to the starter getting a concussion and I won 4 out of the 5 games started. That year I also played freshman baseball for the school playing the outfield and pitching if needed. Before the start of my sophomore season I got pulled up to varsity football. That year I made the switch to outside linebacker. I played both Thursday starting on JV at TE, OLB, and on special teams going to backing up Friday nights on varsity. I was starting on special teams for varsity and backed up at OLB and TE. That year we finished 7-4 and lost a close game in the first round of the playoffs by one point. My second year on varsity came this year. I worked my way past the senior in front of me to become the starting TE, while still backing up at OLB, and playing special teams. I was one of the top 2 receivers on our team. This year again we went 7-4 in a first half shoot out that turned sour in the second half where we lost in the first round.
Outside of sports I am an Honor roll student taking AP classes and Dual enrollment (college) classes. As of now I have a weighted 3.917 cumulative GPA and an unweighted 3.75 GPA throughout high school. I have scored 3’s on all of my AP tests and have received a 1090 on my PSAT sophomore year. My goals academically for this year are to continue to succeed in the classroom and increase my class rank from 53 of 684 (weighted 92.25%). I have the drive, work ethic, and focus to be able to succeed both academically and as an athlete. I am looking forward to being able to work towards an opportunity to continue to do what I love at the next level and be able to play for a great program and school.
