Varsity team, my junior year, we made it to the CIF Semi-finals, the first time in six years, and although we didn't get the result we wanted, the journey to that point was simply remarkable. My Sophomore year, our Varsity team, ended the season with a 2-8 record. Luckily, my school hired an amazing coach and he instilled hard work, discipline, and above all else unity to the team. There were no shortcuts. If you did not step up then you were out. In order for my team to be successful, I needed to bring more than 100% to every practice and game. From studying film to learning the plays, to pushing myself in the weight room, and giving it my all during practice, prepared me to compete to my highest potential. Dedication to be my very best, along with my teammates, led us to our successful year.
