Austin Holt '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Austin Holt. I go to Thomas Downey High School in Modesto, CA. As long as I can remember sports have run my life, and I would love nothing more then to recieve the oppurtunity to continue my playing career on the next level. I am 6'3 225 pounds and feel like im capable to play at any level. Allthough it is my ultimate goal to be playing for a D1 BCS school, I do realize that that is a rare oppurtunity and i can except that, but i am confident that I would be able to play college sports and succeed where ever I go. I just purely want it, I would play football for the rest of my life if I could. I am 16 years old and I will continue to get bigger. I work out everyday to get faster and stronger. I am also a very vocal leader of any team i am on, and I am a winner. To quote Brad Pitt in the movie, Moneyball "I hate losing more than i like winning." I set high expectations for myself and for my team. I have been blessed to be on numerous GREAT teams in my playing career, and have won 2 championships, 1 for my youth team in 8th grade, and another my sophomore year for our JV football team. I approach my senior year with more high expectations, and the confidence that my team can win another championship, and continue our success in the playoffs. For any college that would bless me enough to play for the school, i can promise them a hard worker, a leader, and a winner. I have never missed a practice in my life, and i am a very loyal and spirited player. Whatever colors my school bears, those are what run through my veins.
