I have been playing football for 10 years. I love the game for several reasons. It has taught me the importance of respect, hard work, commitment and being a good teammate. My love of the sport also motivates me to work hard in the classroom. My GPA is usually between 3.8 & 4.0
I know that most student athletes list these attributes, but they are truly important to me. Yes they improve my skills as a football player but the things that I learn on the field I can apply later in life after my playing days are over.
My dream is to play college football and earn a college degree. I want to be the first college graduate in my family. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Strong moral values have always been taught to me. I will represent my college the same way I represent my family name.
I have demonstrated this by working on several community service projects as well as earning several MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards.
