Mekhi Carson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mekhi Carson and I am a 6'4" 280 pound lineman from Murrieta, California. I have started on the Murrieta Mesa High School varsity team for 2 years and I have a 3.3 GPA and planning to take the SAT next spring.  I really enjoy the game of football and I can see myself playing at the next level.  It has been a dream of mine, since I was 9 years old. My inspiration is my grandfather, Kern Carson who played in the NFL.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of engineering and information technology. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, I also have interest in Historically Black Colleges and Universities and will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities to further my education.
