I fell in love with football as a little kid playing with the neighbors and started playing youth football at 5 years old. Since then I've dreamed of playing for as long as possible. Playing at the collegiate level will help me continue to pursue these dreams; it would be a gift I don't accept lightly knowing this could change the trajectory of my whole life.
During my off season I am training as hard as I can to continue bettering myself (6 days a week). I do 1 on 1 QB training, group QB training, camps, track, ballet, 7 on 7 with MLUYFI and I go to Malu Fitness(Antioch, CA) for strength and conditioning training 3x/week.
I work to be a leader on and off the field. On the field I am a leader through my play and my actions. I was able to make the starting Varsity QB position as a sophomore. Off the field I am constantly organizing additional team work to keep us close knit, team bonding and good chemistry. I strive to be the hardest working player. Since I was 5 I have always been recognized as one of the hardest working, most coachable kids on the team. I have received numerous awards in school for character, integrity, empathy and kindness. I love to spend my spare time volunteering as a youth coach to help build their love of football too.
I am excited about the future where I can push myself further and become part of a great college football team. I remain flexible to find the best match for me at a school where I can be an asset to the team and they can push me even further.
All the best,
Jacob Wasso
