Ethan Erickson '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become a division 1 punter/kicker. I would like to be a leader at a big name school and bring pride to my family and my community. In my community of Pacific Palisades our football program is just beginning to show its potential.  I plan to be a part of the team that grows into a football powerhouse in California. I would like to be remembered for my contributions as an effective and consistant kicker at this school. Historically Palisades High School has not recieved many athletic scholarships for football.  The varsity kicker prior to me received a scholarship to San Jose State. I hope to earn the opportunity for a scholarship as well.  Looking forward to college I would help any program I become a part of and help get my team a win at a bowl game.  I recognize that being a kicker/punter is a different type of position than a QB or Linebacker, but it is an essential position  that can help a team both offensively and defensively.  I strive to be just as great off the field  as on by being a great student,  friend, and family member.  I know that I have the potential to earn a spot on the field of a division 1 school.  If you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you that I work on my skills every day and work just as hard for my position as anyone else does with their own.  Almost every day you can drive by my school's football field  and you will see me punting or kicking or stretching on school off hours.
