As a world class competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I mastered techniques over years coupled with calm precision and tactics to take Silver in the Kid's Pan American competition, an IBJJF sponsored international event. I listen very well, am highly coach-able, quite fast and I think quickly while staying focused. I learned to be humble in martial arts and I carry that over into all aspects of my life. I work hard to maintain my skills, flexibility and strength.
As quarterback, I maintain a positive attitude with my teammates and set high standards for my players. In college, I plan to do what I'm doing now, working as hard as I can to lead my team to victory while garnering and giving respect. I lead by setting the example, something my dad has instilled in me.
