I love football. Since the sixth grade when I started playing to now, it's been the my favorite sport, and one of the biggest parts of my life. It was the first activity I ever excelled at and believed I could be the best at, and I still strive to be the very best I can be. I also love the brotherhood that gets formed throughout the season; playing for more people than myself inspire me reach higher and push myself harder.
I wish I could say something like "I've always held myself to higher standards in the classroom and off the field" but in reality, I haven't. My first two years of high school I didn't take school as seriously as I should have and goofed around off the field. I was blessed enough to have a realization of how I'd been wasting precious time though, and i saw that I needed to change the way I was living. Since then I haven't been a perfect golden child, but I've improved in the classroom and made the right decisions off the field, and this last year of high school I'm challenging myself more than I ever have, with 4 academic classes, 3 of them being AP courses.
Whichever college gives me the opportunity to go to will get my full effort, and nothing less. I plan on going to college and being an impact player on my team through my hard work and determination.
