I became interested in football in the second grade when I got my first Madden video game. So from then on it was a thirst to learn the game from my parents. Through football I’ve learned how I’m driven by passion and how I can use that passion to be an emotional leader of people around me. I’ve had to overcome a diagnosis of ADHD and learn to control my mind and not let it control me. My mom has influenced me through her struggle with an autoimmune disease. She gets up and keeps going, she pushes through the pain and the bad days never misses games or practices she listens to me and allows me to be me. Which has helped me develop a unique ability to lead but understand, to be emotional and strategic. I love the little nuances of the game and the history of it which helps me learn new things quickly. I’m striving to be an Academic All American so others with ADHD have a benchmark to reach for. A belief they can do it too.
