Personal Statement

As a student, I have straight A’s, with a class rank of sixth overall and a cumulative GPA of 4.6. This year as a junior, I am involved in our school’s CORE and Ambassador Leader programs, and also our school's ASB program as Junior Class Secretary.  Outside of school I am involved with 4-H. Over the last 3 years I have held the positions of Membership Chairman, Vice President and President. From being involved in these activities I will continue to improve on my leadership and speaking skills that contribute to my success at the quarterback position. I come from a family of athletes. Both my mom and dad were athletes at Stanford University from 1984-1988:  My mom played volleyball and was a First-Team All-American. She was also inducted into the Stanford Hall of Fame in 2003. My dad played football for Stanford and started at linebacker. As an athlete, I am involved in basketball, football, and track.   In football on the Varsity this past year, our team was 9-3 and I threw for 19 touchdowns, 1947 yards and 7 interceptions. In basketball I played guard, and we only lost one game in league. During freshman year I ran track. I threw discuss and ran the 300 and 65 meter hurdles, as well as the 4x4.  This offseason I am devoting my spring to training and doing 7 on 7's with our receivers as well as getting ready for football camps such as NFTC. I have high aspirations for how well I do on the field as well as how I do in the classroom.  I would like to major in Economics or English.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
