Shay Chase '27 Recruiting Profile

Growing up I have always had two things; a passion for sports and respect for my Dad and Mom. My Dad being a strong and sharp Marine has inspired and motivated me to do hard tasks because I know he faces them every day. What I love about football is all the hard work; whether it be running sprints, working out in the weightroom, or learning new plays. I like the challenge. Just as a muscle tears in order to build strength, I am not afraid to take risks when it comes to putting my body under both physical and mental pressure so that I can discipline my body for this sport. If a game is looking difficult for the team I will listen and carry out the coach's call and insights so I can give 100% of my strength to support the team. I will always persevere through the game no matter the odds. I need good coaching so that I can take my game to the next level, to encourage my future college’s team spirit, determination, and drive to work for success.
