Thomas Rohrer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Thomas Rohrer and I am a kicker in the class of 2022. I aspire to be one of the best at my craft and I have been putting in the work every single day. Although my season has ended, I'm in the gym getting stronger every day.  In addition, I'm playing soccer to help with my flexibility, stamina and leg strength. I am making sure that my physical and my academic abilities continue to get better.

After a shortened junior season that we played in the Spring of '21, I was lucky enough to play a full Senior season this Fall.  And, what a season! My team won the CIF 2A State Championship!  I went 87/90 PATs this year and 7/12 FGs with a long of 48 yards. 

After the season ended in mid-December, I was chosen to represent the Red Starz in the annual SDFNL Magazine All Star game.  When the Blue Starz kicker fell ill, I played for both teams!  I went 2/2 FG for Blue and 2/2 PAT for Red with a couple of TBs and a 46-yard punt. 

I challenge myself at school by taking Honors and AP classes. I currently have a 4.20 GPA and continue to take demanding, diverse courses during my Senior year. I'm an active member of the community - volunteering at church and in the community. I also participate in beach clean ups with I Love a Clean San Diego and I provide ideas to the charity "I Am A-OK" that was started by my family and whose mission is to "connect kids with each other and the community they serve."
