Jacob Gomez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jacob Gomez. I play football for a small private school in Chula Vista, California called Victory Christian Academy. Starting at the age of 6, football has been a way for me to escape reality, just play, and be who I want to be. My passion for the game is undeniable, and the adrenaline that I experience while on the field feels so good to me.  I've played a number of positions, some of those including quarterback, cornerback, safety, linebacker, and wide receiver, runningback, defensive end. My skill set is very wide, and I'm used to position changes. My goals, academically, are to increase my GPA to as close to a 4.0 as possible. I have taken multiple AP classes, including AP US History, AP European History, AP Chemistry, and AP Environmental Science. As of now, I also take Honors English for 11th grade. I have been to some events, such as the Rivals Combine Event, both in 2020 and in 2022. My goals for football, is for my senior year, I want to help bring my school their first CIF Championship, as it is a possibility.
