My Name is Tyler Acheson, and I'm a scholar-athlete with the tools to be successful in all walks of life. I've managed a 3.86 GPA while playing varsity football and basketball. My dream for college is study petroleum engineering and play college football. I've built my game around my speed, perfect form, and out studying my opponents. I've been called "Intuitive" and "Studious" when it comes to the game, bringing the same attitude I have in the classroom to every film study and team meeting. I'm always a competitor, no matter what the activity. I will always do anything in my power to win. That drive to beat out my friends and opponents is what has gotten me to the level I'm at. I also believe this mentality is what will allow me to overcome adversity and win out, whether it be football or a job interview.
Athletics and competition have always been such a motivating factor in my life, I believe that without sports my college experience wouldn't be all that it could be. Having a team to keep you motivated and a goal to work towards would make the transition to college just a little bit easier. My main goal is to graduate college in five years with a bachelor in petroleum or mineral engineering. What makes me different is my ability to adapt. Change means progress, so I'm never afraid to move outside my comfort zone and explore something new. This flexibility makes me extremely coachable and always open to input. I've worked tirelessly to put myself in a position where I can decide my future. College football is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn a new career and continue playing the game I love.
