Cameron Jones '18 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Cameron Jones, I am a student first and athlete second. I have been playing football since I was 9 years old and haven't stopped since. I play a multitude of positions, anything ranging from WR, DB, RB, KR, PR, and a little bit of QB. If I had to describe my game in one word, I'd use "versatile" because I feel as if I can do it all. Being 5'8 is a blessing and a curse, blessing because I am quicker than a lot of DB's and get in and out my breaks fast. Curse because at the WR position, college coaches tend to look for a taller player who can go up and get balls. With my 37' inch vertical I can go up and compete with taller DB's for the ball so I think I am just as valuable as a 6'3 receiver. As you can see I'm very confident in my abilities as a player, because I feel as if I can compete with any recruit in the nation. College wise, I see myself playing at the D1 or D1-AA level, however any school that I attend I will be 100% willing to work hard and compete for a chance to play.
