Nicholas Pogue '23 Recruiting Profile

Senior year...it's going to be a good one! My dedication to my team and drive to become a better player is my focus for this season.  I was elected by my teammates to be a team captain and I take this opportunity to help lead the team very serious.  I am working hard in the gym and becoming stronger since I am now squatting 500 pounds and bench pressing 335 pounds.  At the present time, I am standing 6 feet tall and weigh 250 pounds.

I had the opportunity to attend several college camps over summer and learned a great deal to improve my football skills.  I know there is always room for improvement and I'm excited for all of the opportunities I'm being given.  I am playing both offensively and defensively on the line and I am giving it my all to my team.      

I continue to be involved in the student government at my school and I'm putting 100% into my academics by taking advanced classes.  I am a commissioner for the student government and leading the school, both on and off the field.  I enjoy being involved in school activities and take advantage of any opportunities to help the student body.      

I plan to attend a four-year college and I'm interested in studying criminal justice.  I'm focused on becoming the best student athlete!
