I have played basketball almost all my life, I wanted to play tackle football but my mom never let me play until highschool. My freshman year I fell in love with the sport and never wanted to stop, unfortunatlly I had broken my hand in the middle of my second game but was able to finish the game. I had a talk with my doctor and I was cleared to play with a cast, although the next game I had broken my thumb while in the cast and needed to have surgury done so I was out for the season. Although I knew that no matter what i was going to come back out for my sophmore year.
As my sophmore year started I knew that this was the sport I wanted to play, and I worked as hard as I could with what I had, I never got off the feild because I would go from kick off kicker to linebacker or safety and then a kick returner, I then went to wide reciver and then PAT kicker. I used my knowladge from the other sports I have played to help me play multiple positions. Throughout my sophmore I was able to use my leaderships skills that i learned in boy scouts to help my team grow as a unit and a family. As a three sports athlete and a boy scout (soon to be eagle scout) I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
