I have had a childhood most kids i know havent. I have been without parents since i was 3. Growing up without both my parents made me more independent and self motivated. I had to push myself to achieve my goals, which has made me a lot more focussed at an early age. I strive at making myself a better student athlete; whether in the gym, on the field or in the classroom. I have spent the last 4 years bettering my technique, strengthening my muscles and focussing on my grades to be able to reach my goals, playing at the next level and getting a college education.
Getting pulled up to Varsity last year as a sophomore during playoffs was an eye opening experience. I gained a lot of knowledge and understanding that speed strength and game knowledge really shows at the varsity level. Seeing the field, reading route options and knowing time and field management, is a huge part of being a successful defender. That is what i have been focussing on all off season to show my eagerness to perform and help my team make it back to valley champs and the state playoffs!
