I started to play soccer when I was seven years old and I instantly fell in love with it. Since I first stepped foot onto the soccer field, I have sought to play soccer at a collegiate level. After two years of high school, I decided to try kicking a football and I was very good at it. I believe soccer helped me become a football kicker. After camps and personal coaching, I have decided I want to go to college for football. Many people have told me that playing at the college level is a once in a life time opportunity and would make my college experience that much better.
I am an athlete that is constantly trying to improve myself as an athlete and to improve myself as a person in my community. I work hard to become faster, more talented, and stronger each day. I am a team leader and lead by example while I also encourage my teammates to become the best they can be. I am a very coachable athlete and strive to become one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain my high GPA to get into higher programs. I am in the National Honor Society and I am working to obtain my honors diploma. While achieving all this, I also make time to help around my community. I volunteer at our public library to earn hours for NHS and to give back to a community that gave me so much. I am also an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts and this has helped turn me into that man that I am today.
I live by the quote ““Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character”. I have spent many years preparing to play soccer in college and this will help me achieve my goal of playing football in college as a kicker.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to options and want to unlimitedly find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I want to become a great role model to all my peers and to make my family and friends proud.
