Personal Statement

I believe in hard work. Hard work will give the results you need in reaching your goals. That is also how dreams come through. I work hard in school and I see improvements every year. I work hard in football which is my passion and I see results there as well every year. I play Offensive guard and Defensive End. I am very fast running a 4.9 and have an agility on 5.5. I can bench 270, clean 205, and squat 360. I have played for my hometown BCYF Berlin Bears since 2012. I play the Winter Football League every year since 2012 as well. I have also participated in FBU Connecticut and came out as the best Defensive Lineman and participated in 2015 Top Gun Showcase. I was invited to Connecticut High School Line Man Challenge and all offered Football Clinics. My home town team Berlin Bears has dominated our division and made it to the state semifinals 2014. I was awarded the Janice Pajor Memorial Award Representing BMFC Athletic Excellence & Sportsmanship for Football 2014. Also to add on to this I started  2 games varsity as a sophomore and also started every varsity game as a junior.

I have been wrestling during the football breaks. In 2012 and 2013 I went to the finals in the Regional Wresting Tournament for Middle School and came in third place both years. In 2014 I was awarded second place in the Connecticut State Wrestling Tournament. In 2016 as a freshman I  lost a match by one point to place in states. Sophomore year I placed in 3 tournaments and almost placed again.

I am a junior at  Berlin Redcoats High School taking a lot of good classes that will help me in the near future. I am a hard working person and I always will be on and off the field. My size may be a concern to some people but it's an advantage for me to work harder than everyone else and just dominate on the field. My strength, aggressiveness, and my  hard working attitude shows on the field and has made me into a great football player. Over the course of 6 months I have been able to gain 25 pounds of muscle which lead me to weigh 185 for the season. I have completely changed my body for the better which will benefit me in so many ways. But overall I am a hard worker and no matter the task that is put in front of me I will conquer it.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
