Jaden Underwood '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaden Underwood, I am a defensive back at Cheshire Academy and I graduate in the class of 2023. I'm from Brooklyn, New York, I am a devout Christian and my faith in God fuels almost everything that I do.  I want to pursue a job in media communication after my football career. I know the consequences of bad choices and I want to give back to people who weren't given a second chance. In the beginning of high school I didn't take school seriously enough, which led to a slip of my grades, but with the support of my family, my coaches, and the people around me, I became responsible for my future, starting with my schoolwork.  I now have a 3.0 GPA, and am taking IB Mandarin. I want to make the best of every opportunity given to me and use it to propel me into the places I want to go. I have a love for the game of football and would do anything to play at a high level. I'm a natural competitor and a hard worker, but I also have a focus on the good of the whole team, and I always help the people who I stand next to. My talent and dedication to the game will give me an edge over anyone who steps on the field against me, and I know that if I continue to work hard it will all pay off to my success in the end.
