I have played sports and have been an athlete since I was very young. Playing sports is something I have always loved to do. I love the competition, the drive and the focus that sports gives me, the camaraderie, and the family atmosphere of a team. I enjoy being taught, and being pushed, but also leading when needed. I played football and baseball as a freshman and a sophomore in high school. I earned my varsity letter in football as a sophomore. As a junior, I chose to not play baseball any longer, so that I can just concentrate on football. I am 6'5" tall and 255lbs. I was chosen by my coaches as a "pod leader" this offseason. I am captain of the varsity football team this year, voted in by my peers. I have recently been put on the top 100 prospects on the McCarthy report. I decided long ago that I wanted to go to college no matter what. I now know that playing football in college is without a doubt something I want to be able to do as well. I work hard on and off the field and I always want to get better, faster, stronger, and smarter.
