Shea McManaway '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was seven years old - I honestly do not recall a time that I didn't love the sport or love playing it.  I have always dreamed of playing at a collegiate level and will continue to learn, be dedicated and to commit myself to achieving such an amazing opportunity. 

I have a strong work ethic, I am very coachable, knowledgeable and enjoy a team environment.  My former coach always told us that we all have responsibilities and if we each do our job we will succeed. I have found that to be an accurate statement - through helping each other; continuing to learn; encouraging each other, and leading by example you and your team will be successful both on and off the field. 

In the classroom, I study hard, take school seriously and have been able to maintain a high GPA. I will be taking some more challeging courses this year and in the future and will continue to strive both in the classroom and on the field.

I am open to colleges looking to recruit someone with strong aspirations academically and athletically.
