I would like to have a career in law enforcement. Going to college will help me better prepare for that career, to have a higher position and perhaps work for the FBI. I also want to go to college to be able to continue playing football. Playing football has always been a passion of mine since I was a little kid and played Pop Warner. I love the experiences and the brotherhood of football--and being able to go out and hit people every play.
Coaches that I have played for both in Pop Warner and in High School told me and my parents that they have enjoyed coaching me because I am coachable, I work hard to master my position and that I am a natural leader. I get along well with others and am very supportive of my teammates. I help keep my teammates focused. As a sophomore, I started every game on varsity, playing left guard. My coaches have remarked how quickly I pick up plays. I work hard to pay attention to the details and coaching that I get to be my very best.
When I was younger, I wanted to be a sports commentator because I enjoy sports so much. Ok, actually, I wouldn't mind still being a sports commentator. I have played many sports growing up including: baseball, soccer, basketball, football, tennis and even water polo. Basketball and football are the sports I enjoy playing the most now. Football, however, is my passion.
I have always been a good student. I push myself academically by taking AP and Honors classes at my high school. I will be well-prepared to be successful in my student athlete college career. I have been able to balance sports and academics in high school, maintaining all A's and B's while taking college level courses.
