Mikel Gordon '22 Recruiting Profile

Football has had a huge impact on my life. Without God, I don't know where I would be. I have been playing the game of football since I was 10 years old. I have been challenged so much and I embrace it. I have always dreamed to play at a collegiate level. My goal is to earn a degree, have an impact, and help any team that accepts me win. I can achieve these goals by continuing to work hard on and off the field. I'd be a great Student-Athlete for any school because I make sure that I am a student before an athlete, I am a leader and I have a high IQ for the game. I am passionate about the game of football and I have a strong work ethic to get whatever it is I need to get done or want.  I use my energy to lift up my team and keep their heads up whether things are going well or bad. I stay out of trouble and I focus on what I need to in order to be successful. I have learned to keep going no matter what through setbacks. I am open to ALL options and want to find the right school that has the best development and competition.
