Griffin Caldwell '22 Recruiting Profile

I am hard working, very coachable, and a natural leader. I have a relentless motor and constant hustle. To add to that, I am a great teammate. Whether I am encouraging my teammate on the field, picking someone up after a bad play, or celebrating with my team after a great play, I am always there for my boys. I play hard whenever I am on the field regardless if it is a practice or game. On and off the field, I am also a man of character. I keep high standards for myself athletically, academically, and I know what my best is, and I do not settle until for anything less. I am constantly working to improve myself in all aspects.

When I started playing football in 2nd grade, I fell in love immediately. As a kid, of course I dreamed of playing football at the next level. I truly believe football is the greatest sport. The lessons you learn are indispensable. The teamwork, the work ethic, leadership, and the adversity you must overcome transfer into the real world.

I love the game, and my dream playing at the next level is now a goal. I constantly push myself to improve my game and I will not let up until I achieve my goals.

I strive in high pressure situations. My sophomore year, I had 605 yards and 8 TD's in the playoffs alone, eventually leading the team to the Georgia State Finals. Another example would be my freshman year; I made the season saving tackle on 4th & 1, to send us to the next round of the playoffs. When my team needs me, I show up. I do not back down to any challenge, and I emerge as a leader, especially in these times.
