Joseph Allen '13 Recruiting Profile

Football has had a very big impact on my life. I started taking interest in football around 2nd grade. I Started playing Pop Warner Football. I didn't play football in middle school, but I started playing football again my Freshman year of Highschool. I am a very hard worker, and I do not stop until I am done with my job. I do not skip a set, or rep in the weight room. I stay on my block until the whistle is blown. I have experience as offensive tackle, and center. My first varsity start was playing center. Since then I have been playing offensive left tackle. I haven't missed a snap my varsity career. I am a very motivated young man, and I have dreamed about playing college football since I started watching the Florida Gators on television when I was a young boy. I have came a long ways since my freshmen year in high school. By the end of 9th grade I was bench pressing 195 lbs, my squat was at 250, my powerclean was 175, and my 40 yard dash was 5.9-6.0. Now, in my junior year, I can bench press 260, squat 385, power clean 220, and my 40 yard dash is down to a 5.3! I have a great passion for football, and I will do anything it takes to become the best that I can! My way of getting better, is setting goals, and going 100 % in practice, and on the football field. I am also a hard worker in the classroom. School work, and homework comes first. Being a student comes before being an athelete.
