Jayce Mosley '18 Recruiting Profile

Every since I can remember I have loved playing football. I started playing at the age of 5 in the local recreational league. I live in a small town and have attended Branford School from K-10th grade. Wanting to compete at a higher level, I made the difficult decision to leave my comfort zone, with friends that I had grown up and played with, and transferred to Dixie County High School for better opportunities. I am a versatile player playing both offense and defense.  Football has taught me about hard work, dedication and teamwork.  I strive to get better by working hard in the weight room 5-6 days a week and with a personal trainer to improve my skills.  I spent the summer of 2016 in Orem, Utah training on speed and agility. My current goal is to continue to add mass and get faster.  I am currently training in Gainesville, FL at NUMA Speed. This spring I placed 1st overall out of 5 schools in my weight class for weight lifting.

I currently maintain a 3.0 GPA, but I plan to put more effort into my academics and improve my GPA by the end of my senior year.  I am excited to pursue a degree in the medical field in college.
