My parents and siblings are and have been instrumental with the numerous qualities that have been instilled in me since being an infant. There are many worth mentioning but there are two that I try to incorporate in my daily life:
I feel if I can accomplish that mind set, most things should fall in place accordingly.
I am being raised in a household of strong Catholic faith. My faith is extremely important to me and I hope my actions express this.
I became interested and fell in love with football at an early age. I remember clear as day watching the Giants beating the Patriots in two Super Bowls. I started playing football when I was 5 and then tackle at 8 years of age. Playing football has taught me so many lessons.
Here are a few that I have learned: how to play/work with others whether you get along or not, never to give up no matter what others think, you can accomplish much more as a team then an individual and to do your job to the best of your God given ability no matter what the score may be.
I have always strived for academic excellence. I take my; “it’s
Not what you do but how you do it” mentality to be the best I can be in and out of the classroom. I feel that I have several qualities that set me apart from others. I have always been told that I am a born leader. I always try to lead by example and be positive. I have always played any sport without the scoreboard indicating how I play. Any task my coaches have asked of me whether a play or different position was performed to the best of my ability to help the team no matter what.
Football has become and will continue to be an important factor of my life. I have learned and feel that football’s attributes are in essence lessons in life. With having to work with others, getting back up off the ground when you have been knocked down and to never give up if you believe in what you are doing.
