I’m Kevin Austin and I want to be a future student athlete at your University. My favorite things are football, track, basketball, golf and hanging out with my friends. I like to travel and swim in the Atlantic ocean. I also like to fish with friends and family whenever I have time on the weekends. My two favorite subjects in school are math and science. I also like to read books and eating out with family and friends. I like computer technology, my i phone and being on social media with my friends. When I grow up, I’d like to be an engineer designing cars or transportation for the future.
There are several goals that I can achieve as a student student athlete. First, I will work towards a degree in engineer, learn about engineering and continue growing as student athlete by attaining my MBA towards achieving this goal. Growing up in South Florida, I like diversity where students come from all over the world and attend school together. I like that the a school has many different cultures and backgrounds too. My Mom is Jamaican and my Dad is African-American adding my culture and ethnicity to your school will continue to attract students from all over the world. This way, I’ll get the opportunity to meet all types of students and faculty through my participation in sports and learn about different countries and cultures of the student body. I will be involved with the direction of on campus student activities and contribute as one of the leaders at the school.
As a future student, I will contribute to the overall student experience through my contributions on and off the field. Competition through sports brings people and cultures together. I feel that I would bring students, faculty and parents together through my example and competitive spirit in sport and in the classroom. In addition, I will work extremely hard in the classroom once admitted. I feel that your University can help me be an even better student and prepare me for the future.
Lastly, I will continue to build on the winning traditions already established at the University in the classroom and on the field. Ultimately, I will do everything I can to uphold and respect those principles and traditions on the field of play and in the classroom as a proud student athlete of your University.
