Personal Statement

My name is Lane Roberts and I am 14yo and freshman student athlete at DeLand High School in DeLand, FL. I am starting OLB for the Varsity team and I am on special teams. I am a 3 sport athlete competing in football, track and field, and wrestling. I have played football since the age of 5 and have excelled throughout the years leading up to this point. I excell in academics carrying a GPA of 3.875. My love of football has driven my desire to be a leader on and off the field. My ultimate goal is to attend college where I can further my football career, receive a top quality education, and possibly one day make it to the NFL. I feel that my great leadership qualities, excellent academics, and strong athletic ability make me an excellent candidate for your program.
