Personal Statement

Football is much more than a sport to me.  It has been a challenge and an opportunity for my mind, my spirit, my body and my soul. Having played tackle football since 3rd grade, it has truly molded me into the person I am today.  It has instilled drive, determination, a strong work ethic, a competitive spirit and a desire to be successful in all I do.

As a starter on a team that plays at the highest level, I am blessed to be surrounded by a great network of players, trainers and coaches.  Although my team lost in playoffs last year and could not proceed to states, the fact that we lost to the team that won the state championship (and that they only beat us 10-7), I know we are poised to make it all the way for my senior year.  Our loss last year has honed my intensity, and further developed my leadership and commitment to succeed.

I believe I have not just the talent and athleticism to play at the college level, but also the leadership, character and work ethic to be key productive member of your team.  I am looking for a program that will be the best fit for me athletically and academically, and look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a team's development and success!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
