I strive to be the example for my teammates with the ideas of hard work and modesty and the quote of "play with passion or don't play at all". I did not start off with much god given talent but with the support of my coaches, teachers, and parents I have always worked hard to identify the areas needing improvement and then go the extra mile to make those adjustments on the field and in the classroom. I remember growing up in a rural part of South Carolina, I was always expected to play football from a young age, I was 6 years old and was a glorified backup . My coach, said I was not very good and this may not be my sport. I took that and worked at it for the entire off season working with my father that summer as well as going to a few camps, I came back my 2nd season as a starter on both sides of the ball. criticism is one of the things that pushes me the hardest and continues to push me today so that one day I can continue my passion at the next level. I dressed varsity football as an 8th grader and played special teams. That year of being in the locker room and weight room with the High School players pushed me to always go the extra mile and showed me how to be a leader along with being good brother to the whole family
